Clarifications on Our Offers
For us, regional refers to raw materials that are grown or processed within a radius of a maximum of 150 kilometers around our brewery. This includes hops from the Mühlviertel, barley from the Mostviertel, and water from our own springs in the Bucklige Welt. You can find the exact origin on the label of each batch.
By traditional brewing, we mean production according to the German Beer Purity Law of 1516, supplemented by artisanal methods such as open fermentation, slow maturation in oak barrels, and the avoidance of technical enzymes or artificial carbonation. Each of our brews undergoes at least four weeks of maturation – up to twelve weeks for strong beers.
A culinary experience with us includes the conscious tasting of at least three types of beer in combination with regional dishes, which our kitchen team specifically tailors to the aromas of the beers. Portion sizes are designed so that enjoyment is the focus – not alcohol consumption. Each tasting is accompanied by a brewmaster or sommelier.
Yes. All tastings, brewing courses, and events with beer service are exclusively accessible to persons aged 16 and over. Beer is always served in responsible quantities. We reserve the right to refuse entry if signs of excessive consumption are evident. There is no age restriction for non-alcoholic beers and soft drinks.
We work exclusively with suppliers who demonstrably use pesticide-reduced cultivation and disclose their transport routes. Annually, at least 70 percent of our raw materials are sourced from farms that can provide organic certification or a comparable sustainability certificate. We publish the exact proportions in our annual sustainability report.
If you cancel up to 48 hours before the booked appointment, we will refund the full amount. For later cancellations or no-shows, we retain a processing fee of 15 euros. Exceptions apply in cases of documented illness or force majeure. Please contact us directly by email or phone in such cases.
